Opinion: We can't address anti-AAPI hate without improving K-12 education

Two years ago, the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a pandemic, marking the beginning of a public health crisis as well as a wave of hate toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Falsely blamed for the global spread of the virus, the AAPI community has been subjected to violent attacks over and over.
