First Look: Fortune Feimster in new AppleTV+ Kids & Family Series “Frog and Toad”

You remember Frog and Toad from ​​Arnold Lobel’s beloved children’s book series. The four-book series has won Caldecott and Newbery Honors and has been passed down from generation to generation since they were first published in the 70s. Now, the duo is back with a brand-new series premiering on Apple TV+ on April 28th.

Frog and Toad are two best friends who have discovered that the true secret to a great friendship is not only enjoying the things you have in common, but embracing what makes you different. They’ve learned that our differences are what makes us special, Frog and Toad celebrate what makes them unique!

In an exclusive clip from the upcoming Apple TV+ series, Frog and Toad, voiced by Our Flag Means Death’s Nat Faxon and The Simpsons and Family Guy’s Kevin Michael Richardson, are joined by out LGBTQ comedian Fortune Feimster. 

In the clip, Frog and Toad arrive at a restaurant where they plan to celebrate a “special occasion for Toad’s jacket.” The waiter named Lizard, played by Feimster, greets the “gentlefolk” and escorts them to their finest table.

The pair are delighted by the multitude of soups on the menu, ranging from pumpkin soup to dandelion soup, until they excitedly agree upon simply soup.

The series features an exciting cast including LGBTQ stars like Margaret Cho and Cole Escola.

Tune in on Apple TV+ on Friday, April 28th for the series premiere of Frog and Toad.
